Meeting strangers in a carpark is never usually encouraged, however that’s often where my journey of meeting couples before a pre-wedding photo shoots often begins. It’s a chance to break the ice before the big day and mans that everyone is bit less nervous – and more relaxed as the ice has already been broken.
This journey however did actually start a little differently as I met with the wonderful Rosy & Karma in a café and we bonded over coffee which is always a way to my heart!
Fast forward a few weeks after booking, we had arranged a pre-wedding photoshoot at Elberry Cove in South Devon and it couldn’t have gone any better. R&K arrived with 4 of their best friends who were the ultimate cheerleaders you’d want to be surrounded by for a pre wedding photoshoot. The energy they brought was electric, reassuring and supportive so you can only imagine what they were like for the wedding day! True friendships who were on hand for all the attention to detail and they brought the laughs in abundance.
Despite the weather being absolute baltic – this was a cold day in early March – we got some amazing shots that were used to decorate a table on their wedding day which was such a good idea.
R&K were utterly smitten with each other throughout the photoshoot so we got plenty of candid shots of them together, as well as a few posed ones.
So this is my PSA for you to book a pre wedding photoshoot with me. I’ll bring my camera and the terrible jokes, and you bring that deep deep love you feel for your partner, and we can officially start the wedding countdown as the time I’ll see you after the pre wedding photoshoot will be when you’re getting ready to say I Do!
