My Visit: Weddings at Dartington Hall

POV – You’ve arrived at Grade I Listed Dartington Hall, just outside Totnes on the sunniest yet windiest day. There is a howling gale blowing through the trees, yet the blossom that has just started to arrive is staying firmly attached to the trees.

I met with Charlotte, the wedding planner at Dartington and she showed me around the grounds and highlighted areas that can be used exclusively for your wedding. I am a huge advocate for how weddings are so personal to the couple who chose them. However, there is a huge wow factor for weddings at Dartington Hall. The grandeur of the building alone is enough for jaws to be dropped.

On a setting of 1,200 acres, the Grade II Listed Gardens would be the perfect place to see the sun setting through the trees. You can welcome golden hour in style with a glass of champagne on your wedding day surrounded by your wonderful guests and newly married partner.

There is plenty of accommodation on site too so no designated drivers or taxis required which is always a huge win!

The team at Dartington Hall offer bespoke packages and like to tailor your wedding day around you however they also do offer packages so I’d highly recommend getting in touch with the team at Dartington to discuss how this could be the perfect wedding venue for you.

If you’re also looking for a photographer for your wedding at Dartington (or nearby thoughout Devon or Cornwall) you can get in touch with me here. The better a photographer knows a venue, the better your photos will be, so I’ve already scouted all the nooks to make sure I can get the perfect shots for your wedding day at Dartington.
